By creating an account or using the Nuntiatum service (the “Service”), you accept the following Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Nuntiatum is a platform based in Portugal that collects, processes and makes available information on the electricity sector of Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom, and on the European electricity markets. For the purposes of these Terms, “we” refers to Nuntiatum.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have the authority to bind it.
3. Account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- An account may not be shared by several users (except for seats on the Enterprise plan).
- Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Plans and payments
We offer free plans and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. The Pro plan includes a free trial of 7 days, once per person; the Enterprise plan has no trial. You can cancel whenever you like — access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
Prices include VAT at the statutory rate in force, where applicable. Invoices are issued electronically.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Resell or redistribute the data without written permission.
- Attempt to extract the data by automated means beyond the limits of the API.
- Use the Service for illegal activities or activities that infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to compromise the security of the platform.
6. Intellectual property
What is ours. The analyses, summaries, reports, the organisation of the data and the software we produce are the property of Nuntiatum. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal use: you may use, quote and integrate them into your processes, but not resell or redistribute the service to third parties.
What belongs to others. The market, regulatory, grid and weather data come from public sources — in Portugal OMIE, OMIP, REN, ERSE, E-Redes, DGEG and APA; in Spain REE and CNMC; in France RTE and Enedis; in Germany SMARD and BNetzA; in the United Kingdom Elexon and Ofgem; and at European level ENTSO-E, Eurostat, Ember and Open-Meteo, among others — and they belong to those who publish them: we aggregate and present them, and claim no ownership of them. Some are published under their own licences (for example CC BY 4.0) that require attribution, and we credit the source on the pages of the Service.
News. For each article we keep the headline, the date, the name of the publication and the link to the original, and we write our own summary; the text of the articles is not republished, not even in part. The method and the framework it rests on are described in how we treat the work of those who write (in Portuguese).
7. Availability
We aim for 24/7 availability, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. A bespoke contract may agree specific terms, which apply only to that contract.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. The analyses, summaries and reports we make available are decision-support tools — they are not a substitute for qualified legal, financial or technical advice. We are not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of the information provided by the Service.
9. Termination
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with prior notice where possible.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of the district of Lisbon have jurisdiction, to the exclusion of any other.
